This book made me laugh out loud, which is why I picked it up in the first place.
I agree with some of the other reviews — way too much narration, not enough dialogue. In general I feel like the aim of this book could have been accomplished in half the page length. It just went on too long at times.
Overall it was a lighthearted read that I sped through more quickly than expected. Whether that was because the writing was engaging or I just wanted to finish the dang thing, I’m not sure. Probably a mix of both.
What I did like was the resolution. Overall it’s worth a try. Entertaining, funny at its best, and at its worst - like waiting for your uncle to finish telling his long winded stories you’ve heard so often you know the ending.
