Let me start off by saying that the subgenre of Angels in YA has NEVER interested me in the slightest. Potential for real cheesiness is just too high. Now. That being said trust me when I say that if you are looking for a story to fill that Hunger Games-shaped hole in your literary heart, you need to read this book. It is terrifying, compelling and scarier than you think it ever could be.
