Are You Listening? is a story centered around two women, Lou and Bea. Both are on the road, away from home. The story follows their trip as the world around them magically shifts.

This graphic novel is gorgeous, and the artwork is so beautiful. The actual story, however, barely scratched the surface of human connection and ideas. I never really got an emotional connection to the characters or story, even though there were some emotionally-charged scenes.

This book is a really quick read and, I'd recommend it to those who like the art style. It's not bad, but it's not life-changing or significant (to me).
