RG’s writing is effortlessly gorgeous and humbly clever. She understands the complexities of the human mind—the ongoing and never won battles between thoughts, emotions, and actions. She’s just brilliant.

I struggled with the darkness and the sexual assault/sexual trauma in this particular book and will never read it again, which is why the 4 stars.
