The Guest List
by Lucy Foley
This book started out slow, and I found the switching viewpoints more frustrating than I normally do. The author was obviously playing “hide the ball” with the plot points. However, as more and more secrets were revealed, I was HOOKED. The twist at the end caught me by surprise. This was a 3 star read for me, because it was slow and the British slang had me running to google too often. But the twist in the last 25 pages earned that extra star. 4 stars.
