Take A Number by Amy Daws
5.0

Of course I was very excited for this book in this series I love by this author that I can’t get enough from! Hmm, was I too repetitive? Because this review will probably be a full of all the love I want to give the book! I loved Dean. And Norah, I want to be Norah! Or at leas able to bake and cook like her, and I guess get Dean like she does.

It was fun getting to see Dean actually get into the “real” dating side of things. He’s been in love with his best friend, offered to be the baby daddy for another one of this best friends, and really, he deserved to find a love of his own. Even if he didn’t think he wanted or deserved one. Because, yes, he did. He is so sweet, and so funny. I loved all the different, well slightly different, pet names that he had for Norah. Sugar Butt, Sugar, Sugar Lips, Sugar everything. Of course when it came to his nicknames at all, he tended to kind of get stuck in one trend, example being Douche Kayak, Captain Douche Cookie, and I’ll let you discover the rest when you read this yourself!

It was the usual sweet, steamy, hilarious read that I expect from Amy Daws. Now, I know maybe she hasn’t planned them, but I’m going to need a story for Max, and also for Rachel too. Also, I’ve never really wanted to try the type of pastry this book has, but after the descriptions of these croinuts, I especially want to try the one with the light dusting of cinnamon and sugar with a stripe of dark chocolate. Yummy!
