This book highlights what a great deal of the world knows for fact: US police do not obey the laws they are obligated to enforce, and the judicial system, not only is aware of this, but has continually ruled in favor of illicit police protocols and actions, all in the name of defending racism and Jim crow.

This is another truly eye-opening book from Chemerinsky, and I have enjoy his books. Thought provoking, and thoroughly researched to provide accurate information. (Don't worry, its a fox news/maga free book, so there is no side-stepping the horrors conservative justices have continued to impose on this Apartheid Republic of America) Another one that should be widely disseminated and offered in high school history/government courses as part of the mandatory reading in curriculum's.
