I know that this is awfully low rating for a book that everyone seems to absolutely adore, but there is a massive difference between writing familiar tropes for comfort and this book.

Unfortunately, I found it too on the nose and it felt so much like media I'd consumed before that there was no excitement about the progression of the story.
