I'm going to be frank and say that my favorite characters of the book are the ghost and Victoria. I found these two to be the sensible characters compared to the rest. I think Victoria plays a major role in the book even if she was present only in the last part.
I enjoyed the architecture stuff because I love reading about buildings, especially the older ones.
The chemistry between Alix and Jared could definitely have been better, considering that the book is written by JD. She is good with emotions but this one wasn't up to her mark.
Nevertheless, I liked reading it because it has many subplots and a mystery, which I enjoy.
