I’m not sure what to make of this book. It feels very slow, like nothing is happening until the last 100 pages or so, and then there’s so much going on at once that it would be too much at the same even on the best soap opera. It was very heavy on the descriptive side of the scenes, but at the same time it didn’t describe enough? I’m not even sure how that’s possible, but here we are.
I liked Darcy, and Hara was okay as well, and they were the biggest reason I did finish the book. They weren’t anything special though. If I had to describe the book in one word, it was... okay-ish? I guess? Trigger warnings would have been nice, though. Not one I’d recommend quickly to anyone
