I didn’t hate this or anything but it just stressed me out!!! Everyone’s horrible to each other. Also Bo sucked (corners a girl in the bathroom and tells her “put your hair back up or I’ll kiss you”? Yikes dude - but I guess a guy being dishonest and kind of creepy is fine as long as he's hot and has had one [1] life struggle) and of course the most aggressive/abrasive character was a lesbian (the book tried to pull the “but she has a heart of gold” thing but she’s seriously really mean, kind of stereotypically so imo). Urgh. Could’ve used more of the actual pageant, which was way less spectacular than I expected. A lot to like, especially re: body positivity, but a lot I didn’t like, too.
