Dillion grew up wanting to escape the small town she grew up in, however, now she has to return to help with the family business. Van grew up in the city and loved the time he got to spend in the small town is grandma Bee lived in, now he gets to return to take care of her estate.

I LOVE Dillion. As a character, she feels very relatable especially if you grew up in a small town and know that feeling of wanting to get out of it and really never return. However, I love that when she did return she slowly back in love with the town and the people she wanted to get away from most of her life. Van is sweet and a loveable character.

The chemistry between Dillion and Van is hot. Their first meeting had me laughing. The banter between them was fantastic the entire time. I loved seeing their connection grow, especially when information about the summers Van spent with Bee as a teen.
