Unlike the way I felt about the last book in this series, I thought this book was incredibly slow. Not much really happened at all. However, the Baudelaire's find themselves in their most ridiculous situation yet! Side note: I loved the connection between the optometrist (Dr. Orwell) and the cover of George Orwell's novel, 1984.
