the final part was much more relevant and interesting to me (having already been through enough therapy to know pretty much the whole first 3/4 of the books revelations) but I'm still not entirely sure if I would recommend this book to anyone who isn't Korean. it's just not as culturally relevant in the West as it is there. this isn't a negative, per se. also, I was a little perturbed as to the psychiatrist naming so many "conditions" that the author might have and not worrying very much about her medicine dosage - it's not entirely clear if she was warned that they were upping her dosage. I'm pretty sure this is also just... a Korean thing, for lack of better ways to phrase it.
