Kind of thorn about this, because I didn't care much for the first half of the book, but Mosscap won me over so much that I'm rounding up to 4 stars. I feel like I understand where Dex is coming from much better once we meet the robot companion, but for the first few chapters they were getting on my nerves most of the time. I wish this second part had been longer for that reason.
