This book started pretty good and I was really enjoying it. I could look past Bree’s serious I’m not like other girls energy. I also loved Nate’s teammates and their interactions made me laugh. However it soon turned to cringe. I don’t understand how neither of them realised they liked each other. They were both so obvious about it and it had been 6 damn years. I did love that there wasn’t a third act breakup but wtf was that ending. Nate was way over the top. The anxiety and panic attack representation was pretty well done though. It’s also PG13 with just kissing if you are looking for a clean romance.
