This book was just lovely. It was a counting book and a feelings book all rolled together. Did you ever think that Zero felt lonely and left out. That it had no value and was just an empty hole. With some help from 7 and the other numbers, Zero finds that she has more value then she could ever know. I love how the author makes the subject of numbers a story about being left out, or a story about finding you do matter to yourself and those around you. It take a literary artist to pull off that type of story, and this is an artist I want to hang on my wall, and place on my bookshelf.
