I definitely thought the ending to this book would be a bit more dramatic than it actually was. Not that there wasn’t drama but it ended a bit more abruptly than I expected.
All in all I thought this was a solid prequel. It gave you a good history of the sick things that went on at Brookline before the school turned it into a dorm and caused all the events of the Asylum series to unfold. It really was twisted, some of the things they tried to do. It’s sad the way people were treated for being a little different.
