I’m in the minority of this book, as every review I’ve seen has given this a four star or above. I absolutely loved the first 100 pages of this book, until I realized…..Matthias’ POV drove me INSANE. He was so unbelievably selfish and irritating, and I could not stand reading his chapters. I also think he is genuinely just a weirdo. Lena’s POV is by far the best out of the three, which would make it a bit boring when we moved to Hannah. The plot was very fast paced with a lot of twists and turns, some of them landing, some not. This book does a lot of the “the characters know things you don’t know” where it teases it in your face, and it’s not a trope I like but thankfully the book moves so quick it wasn’t too bad. Personally, I found the autistic rep to be a bit questionable and dated. The writing was decent, and the translator did a great job. Even though there were a lot of things that bothered me, I couldn’t stop flipping the pages to see what happened next.
