The first and last part of this book were so good! I can't believe we are still world building in the third book of this series. Personally, there was so much action and so many plot twists, I couldn't tear my eyes away from it during those moments. I love the direction this series is going, and the main protagonist has grown even more badass. I'm also excited to see that the lore is growing and that we are still learning about the different creatures in this world.

The one thing that bothered me was the repetitiveness of the dialogue. The same witty comments were made so many times and the dialogue seemed a bit repetitive with the conversations.  It wasn't something that bothered me in the previous two books, not sure what was different about this one. After thinking on this one, I realized it was pretty bad. The dialogue seemed much more modern than previous books and it was pretty jarring. We all know the writing isn't the most revolutionary and beautiful thing ever which is a huge criticism of the book in general.

This definitely was a filler book, so I’m hoping the next book falls more into the lines of the first and second. Altogether, this was one of my most anticipated releases of 2021 and I can't wait for the next one now!
