A Great Gatsby retelling where our two main boys are trans and everyone is gay and queer and can you hear me screaming?! I have literally enjoyed every single Anna-Marie McLemore book I have read, so I knew this would not disappoint me! I still have not read the original Great Gatsby, but this now being my second queer retelling of it is warming me from the inside. The atmosphere, the colourism and racism brought up, the gayness, the class differences... the beautiful story that all come together is perfect for me. I truly enjoyed this. Also... the final cover?! Cannot deal, it is sooo stunning!!!! 4/5 stars.
