Anthem by Ayn Rand

Talking about a book that isn’t talk about as much as it deserves!! This book was great. In term of content, this is in the same categories that 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. Why did i never heard of it before. What is because women writing in the 30s, even more writing science-fiction, wasn’t something very acceptable/popular? Maybe... It could also be because it suffers a bit in the narrative aspect. I said it was similar to Orwell and Bradbury’s book in the content, not in the writing or narrative. As much as this book was great in term of ideas and concept, and even writing, not in style, but in playing and presenting stuff (like the character always referring to him as We, putting a strong accent on the sense community that’s above all), the actual writing, the prose, the style, eve the structure suffers a lot. It almost could pass as a sketch, a first draw, lack some polish and finish (that’s why i drop one star) but it’s still a very good book that more people should read and talk about. I highly recommend it!
