This was slower paced than I anticipated. It only picked up speed toward the ending.

I don't know what to say about this book. It's a really good fantasy book, I understand why so many people love it. But I might be a little more interested in the sequel.

The ending had so many heartbreaking moments.

The enemies to lovers subplot wasn't as juicy as I expected. Maybe in the next book.

These characters are a mess, no wonder none of them have a love life.
