I really wanted to like this book, but it was so boring.⠀I was so close to DNF it, but I knew it was a highly anticipated release.The Sweeney Sisters is the story of the aftermath of the three Sweeney sisters’ famous father’s death. Well, I didn’t care. I didn’t care about the sisters. They were indistinguishable from each other. I didn’t care about their loss. Their dad seemed like a terrible person. I didn’t care about the sisters’ secrets and discoveries.Slice of life can be meaningful, beautiful ,IF the writing is good. This ain’t it, chief. ⠀
