Sparks Likes Stars is not only a pretty cover with a pretty name. This book is powerful. Every time I picked it up my heart ached. Aryana/Sitara survived the loss of her family and her journey is not for the faint of heart. Nadia Hashimi is a wonderful story teller who pulled many emotions like empathy, sadness, and fear from me. Sparks Like Stars will always be an impactful book that I will always recommend.
