I really enjoyed this one! The characters are what truly made the story shine. They were so full of heart and vulnerability. I did really enjoy seeing them navigate hard choices and take real steps toward healing (though I have issues post therapy journey - but to get into that would be to get into spoilers - to sum it up though, it felt a little bit like the therapy was the magic pill that fixed everything).
The one thing that drew me to this book was the fact that she bought a bus to renovate and he was supposed to be helping her. I was so excited to dive into that and see them working together a lot, but the bus almost felt like this background piece that was used when convenient for the plot and ignored otherwise. I really would have loved to have more page time with the renovation.
All that to be said, if you're in the mood for a sweet friends to lovers with an amazing MMC, this one is worth the read.
