Fated Unkindness
by Blake Gallows
It's been a long time since I felt like I really had to be paying attention to every paragraph to learn about the characters or I may miss something. This debut novel from Blake Gallows is setting her up for a massive following if she continues to write like this because I'm obsessed, I'm literally reading it again. The book is set up to only give you just enough information as needed, and by that I mean the reader (you) learn with the characters instead of knowing as something happens and I LOVE IT. My second read-through is putting all the information I learned on the first read-through to work and it's like reading a new book almost.
There is fae, war, fated mates, humor, touch her and die, amazing best friends, badassery from both all the characters, a love-to-hate villain, and most importantly... a surprise at the end!! I can't spoil this, but please give Fated Unkindness a shot because you won't regret it. Can I get you to read just based on one quote? Let's see.
