We have reached the end of this graphic novel series..... The final volume was a let down for me.

The series started out so strong and got messier and more out of focus as it went along. What started out as this rural horror noir shifted into a more post-apocalyptic centered story.

The ending was not as deep and complete as it needed to be to tie up all plots and story line. Instead we got a gun battle. The ending felt very rushed and should have focused on the Cypress family since they were the main characters throughout the whole story.

Overall it was still a good time and a good read with a great art style if you like noir stories, but does have some low points in the last few volumes.
