Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
4.0

This sequel seems to get quite a bit of flack for being not as good as the first, but once you've gotten a glimpse at the insane person that is Joe Goldberg, it's unlikely anything he does in this one would surprise you.

With that in mind, WOW. Every time I thought Joe was in love with another not-Beck I believed him when he seemed to have turned over a new leaf and was done piling up dead bodies- and every time he confirmed what I should have known the whole time which was that he's a total psychopath. I'm so impressed with the lengths Caroline Kepnes went in writing Joe's... excursions. And once again the audiobook is the obvious way to go because of how unbelievably creepy Santiago Fontana is as Joe.

I loved this creepy MC. He both thrills me and makes me uncomfortable. Well done Kepnes, well done.
