One for the Rogue is about Geologist Gemma Hastings the last single bluestocking that is residing in the Beauchamp’s estate, and how life becomes complicated with men attempting to steal, kill, and love her, for a fossil that may or may not be a myth. Dangers requires protection, and that protection comes in the form of Lord Cameron Lisle, a fellow fossil hunter who finds her exasperating but suddenly has changed his view of her. Forced in a fake betrothal for the sake of convenience and a mystery to solve, Gemma and Cam learn about each other and both become pleasantly surprised.

It was enjoyable to read, perhaps at times far-fetched but delightful nonetheless. Recommended.
