That was interesting and not quite was I was expecting. I am intrigued enough to continue but not in a rush to do so even with the cliffhanger. The setting being mostly in modern day England was a surprise. I do like the artwork. The age gap is huge but this is a fantasy. There's no romance or anything like that..... yet. I suspect it will come and I'll see how I feel about the age gap then. Right now he treats her like a daughter. A decent start overall.
