At first dispirited, she is determined to stay in school and find a solution: by building a bench! Aria's persistence and her community's support is heart-warming and inspiring. Just like in The Library Bus, Rahman has an amazing talent for connecting true Afghani life (of which he draws from his own lived experiences) to universal childhood emotions and experiences.
