I listened to this book and it was super cute! It’s told in two timelines - the 1920s and the present. Augusta grew up in Brooklyn, and her dad owned a local pharmacy. I really enjoyed hearing what it was like back then, especially how they handled medicine.

Augusta is finally retiring when she runs into Irving, who used to deliver for her dad’s pharmacy. Then the story goes back in time as she tells us how they first met and what happened all those years ago. 

In the now timeline, the characters are older, and they made me laugh and smile so much. 

By the end, I just wanted to hug the book. I hadn’t seen much about it before, but I knew I wanted to read it for a while, so I’m really glad my Book Club chose it. This book made me so happy!
