Jade of City has a Godfather vibe. There are two clans in island of Kekon and they take care of the districts, businesses, and people. A war is brewing between both clans and the only way they can have strength is to wear Jade.
I really liked the mafia vibes with a hint of fantasy. There were some things I didn’t see coming. I liked the politics, family ties, and the tension between both clans. I really want to know more about why Jade gives them strength and what happens if a Green Bone has a child with a Stone Eye. Will their child be able to wield Jade? Other than that this story was very engrossing and I didn’t want to put it down.
