I liked Freedom and The Corrections. This one - no. I mean there was a good novel in there - somewhere. Too many points of views and time shifts - they are on purpose to keep with the unevenness of the novel. I get the structure. What I didn't get was the wordage, bloating and the unnecessary subplots. Again, I understand they are on purpose, but the novel didn't flow. I couldn't sit for long periods of time and read. I had to read in chunks.
