This is what I have been missing in YA fantasy. I absolutely loved this book! This may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. The premise drew me in and I couldn’t stop reading this book and put It down. The mythology was probably my favorite part, the Bone Criers was something I’ve never heard of and it was so uniquely interesting. The three protagonists, Sabine, Ailesse, and Bastien all embodied different traits and each personality was so different. Sometimes different POVs (especially three) can be overwhelming but I loved reading from each one. The enemies to over trope is executed perfectly. There is a ton of action throughout the book, making it seem almost fast paced. While it could have been longer and had more depth, I don’t think it took away from the book. There are so many plot twists as well, especially at the end! Really, really recommend this book to fantasy lovers, especially with the enemies to lovers trope.
