Chapter 9 was very interesting, in my opinion, and the rest were simply okay. Often, Benton started talking about very complicated procedures without much introduction, expecting us to simply know what he was talking about. The times I was able to keep up with him- which was maybe 50% of the time, tops- were often so dry that my eyes skimmed a little. At one point, Chapter 6, I even fell asleep with the book in my hands. I never do that. Even so, what I did understand and did not bode me half to death was very educational, and made the rest of the book worth it. However, I do not recommend it unless you fully understand the topic, and are prepared to read endless statistics.

P.S. Benton gives a lot of information, and talks about using it to come to conclusions, but upon slightly closer reading he seems afraid to put forth any of his own theories on the evidence provided ( "we cannot be sure". Well then state it needs further testing! We want to know what you th I k, even if it's later proved wrong!)

P.P.S. Sorry if this is grammatically incorrect\ hard to understand. It is late, and has been a long day.
