I inhaled this book....

GAH! All the feels— where was this book when I was a college freshman?? Truly, it would have made me feel less alone.

But really, guys, how often do you meet a character and who makes you feel squishy & hopeful, utterly lost in the text, fully along for the ride, forgetting you’ve been reading instead of living? It’s happened for me a handful of times, chalking up Cath to my short list. She’s an aspirational young woman. I’m enamored.

It’s YA and fan fiction but so much more. The MC is so smart, introspective, and full of dark wit. The writing she produces, as well as her internal dialogue, is so hyper aware of scenes & setting, adeptly using paragraph/chapter breaks to give more information than could have been blatantly told. WOW. I have no idea why it took me so long to believe in Rainbow Rowell’s prowess.

Also I’m crushing on Levi, hardcore. 😍
