I love Kelly Elliott’s writing and I love Kristin Mayer’s writing, together they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have been waiting for this book since it was announced, and it was worth that wait. I couldn’t put this story down.

Kendall is the new GM of a minor league NFL team that is making headlines and not in a good way. She is in need of new head coach and has her eyes set on former NFL player and coach Hunter Owens. However, they end up getting involved in a different type of game, one that involves the heart. Is this a game they will put everything on the line for?

I loved Kendall and Hunter from the very start. Kendall is a strong woman and she is taking charge in an industry that is male dominated. MAJOR kudos for her for standing her ground and kicking ass at her job. Hunter, well I was sold on him from the moment he was introduced. He is my book boyfriend weakness. Cowboy and tattooed. Kendall and Hunter had instant chemistry with each other, but of course, they don’t act on it right away and this leads to some hilarious banter.

This story was EVERYTHING I could have wanted and more. It was funny, it was steamy, and it was emotional in a way that I never could have expected. The antics of the football team had me laughing at times, those guys were insane.
