I have been waiting for Baldr’s story since book 1 and I was so excited to finally get to it! Baldr is just the sweetest bean and I wanted to learn more about him…and the mysterious Drafli as well. Their dynamic is very interesting since they are from different clans and have an extremely difficult history.

Alma is absolutely delightful. She is immediately unafraid of Orc Mountain and makes herself right at home. She also holds her own with Drafli, which is not something everyone can say. But she is also living the dream because Baldr and Drafli are everything. I would love to be their girlfriend.

The three of them spend a LOT of time in the furs trying to figure out their dynamic and get that little baby Grisk they want so badly, so this book is extra spicy 🔥 The main conflict here is their very complex relationship, though there is the threat of war from Alma’s old employer as well.

The story took a few unexpected turns, but you know we are gonna get our HEA in Orc Mountain! This series continues to have me in a chokehold, and I can’t wait for more.
