I desperately wanted to enjoy this book based on the Libby holds and Tiktoks, but this book was not for me. I definitely went in with different expectations.
Description: How I saw this book advertised was a rom-com, 3 women (Sioban, Miranda and Jane) all fall for the same man, Joseph Carter. He stands them all up on Valentines day. Joseph wants to make it up to all 3 of them, but all 3 have different lives and drama they need to sort out. Will Joseph be able to handle all 3 relationships or will they fall apart? (again, this sounds like a rom-com plot, but it's DEFINITELY not). Definitely has sad vibes especially at the end.
The good:
- Twisty end
- I cared about Jane most of all, but in general all the women I cared about
- Had me in my feelings
The lost of 2 stars:
- Extremely slow paced in my opinion
- Could not feel invested because I personally did not like Joseph (until maybe the last 10% of the book)
Overall: Not a rom-com, very slow, but gets very good in the last 20% of the book.
