this was an amazing read, especially during a time of trans-erasure. bug, a transgender kid, is figuring out how to deal with grief and their own identity, while the ghost of their recently deceased uncle tries to guide them through it. it’s sad, and nostalgic, and hopeful. i teared up within the first chapter, thinking about my own uncle and how i was never able to say goodbye. trans joy is something so special to me, and especially when the youth has supportive people in their life. i loved this <3
