The genius behind Allie Brosh's art and stories is that while they are intensely personal (I don't know any people who spent such a long time in a dinosaur costume as she did), they still evoke a sense of camaraderie between the her and the reader. We laugh at the bizarre stories and love them fiercely because the concepts she throws at us are ones that we can all relate to.
