Reed and Alice’s story was such an emotional rollercoaster. They both had traumatic pasts, but found solace in the stars and one another at a young age. But all of that changed when Reed broke his promise and left Alice without a word. Years later their path’s cross again and we learn why Reed suddenly left. Reed and Alice’s chemistry was undeniable. I loved how they were together. I really loved all of the side characters from the Vipers MC and the found family vibes. I wouldn’t mind a book of all of their backstories. My only complaint about this book is how long it was. I was very intrigued with the overall storyline, but felt it started to drag and get a little repetitive in the middle. This is a major slow burn, but once the spice hits, it hits hard.

Overall I was very impressed with this authors debut novel and look forward to reading more from her in the future…which hopefully will feature Oak *cough* *cough* 😉
