Struggling photographer Delta unwittingly winds up married when she picks up a mysterious red envelope on the ground - the only catch? The groom is already dead.

This bookโ€™s description IMMEDIATELY caught my eye when I first saw it, and I knew I had to jump at the chance to read it. And it does not disappoint in the least! Comedic, genuine, and at times emotionally devastating - this book has it all.

I loved every second of this book, and once I started reading I could NOT put it down! The romance was so well-done (and certain parts absolutely made me cry!) that I will absolutely be re-reading this in the future to experience it again. I cannot wait for the sequel, and I will be one of the first to grab it the second itโ€™s available.

We follow Delta as she navigates a grieving family and the dead husband she has accidentally acquired in the process. Can she keep her heart guarded enough to keep from falling in love with her already โ€œdeath-do-us-partedโ€ husband? Or will she have to accept heartache as the only ending to this doomed romance when her ghostly husband finally passes on to the next life?

This book is for anyone searching for a romantic comedy that perfectly balances the line between hilarious and heartfelt, and which has you desperately hoping for that happily ever after we all dream about.

A HUGE thank you to the author for providing me a digital ARC! (I loved this book so much I preordered a physical copy when I was only 50% through as I already knew I loved this book!)

My initial reaction after finishing this book:  I wish I could eat this book. I love it. (And I still stand by this, 1000%.)
