This was such a great start to a new series! Before I started I knew it was going to be an age gap, cowboy, grump and sunshine, small town with a dash of suspense but I wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would be. It was a great blend of sexy and tender with so many sweet and beautiful moments between Ruby and Charlie. Their HEA was hard fought, so much tension and upheaval which made the ending even more bittersweet. I loved the ranch setting and the way the author set the stage for the rest of the series. Charlie’s brothers were all really interesting and I can’t wait to get to see their stories too, especially Wyatt. If you like really well balanced romances with super lovable characters, a deep emotional connection and plenty of steam this was great.
