Sawyer by Jessica Peterson
5.0

From the start of this series I knew I was going to love Sawyer’s story. He is such a good dad, a caring brother & supportive partner. I have not read a single dad x single mom romance before this and I think I found a new favorite trope.

Ava was a dream FMC for me. I love a story of a woman finding her strength again. I loved how she was unapologetically herself and how she knew what she wanted and was going to get it.

Sawyer & Ava had such ridiculous chemistry I was rooting for them from the jump. I really loved that once they were reintroduced they were so open about their feelings, not just with each other, but their families. I would have been so easy to do the "pretend we don't know each other" thing but this was so much more honest. Watching them take turns supporting each other and taking care of the girls was so sweet. Ella & June just stole my heart. Every girl growing up wants their bestie to be their sister and I just love this for them.

Some moments felt a little too similar to the previous book in this series, but I did read them back to back on the same day so I might not have noticed otherwise.

LOVING this series so far! Thanks to the author & Valentine PR for the ARC.
