Better Hate than Never by Chloe Liese
3.0

While not my favorite Chloe Liese book, it's still a good one. I appreciated the ADHD, chronic migraine and demisexual representation because I think those are so important and the author also does those things justice (she is known for her characters having representation like this). I did love Kate and Christopher together, but a few things bothered me. For one, Kate is a virgin and Christopher is basically a manwhore who basically tells her that the only reason he slept around was to "get her out of his head" and to try to move past her. Uh, that's not flattering. The "it's always been you" part is not really believable when he tells her this. Also, they were mean and cruel to each other (that argument they had in the kichen after dinner was just WOW) and said it was because they secretly loved each other, but I don't but that either. Lastly, it's just a little weird that Christopher says he was there when Kate was born, changed her diaper, he got peed on and viewed her sisters as his sisters but not her??? I don't know. That doesn't sit right with me. But, I still LOVE Chloe Liese and everything she does, I just think this wasn't the best and didn't work for me.
