This is only part 1 of the book, but it's almost as difficult to get through as ACOTAR. If anything, it made me dislike Nest more than I already did. I understand what the author was attempting to go for and how she was trying to build a character that is flawed with self-destructive behaviors, but that could've been achieved much quicker without lingering on the absolute most distasteful aspects of her. We still would've got the whole picture.
Hoping part 2 improves upon the faults of this first half. The only reason I didn't DNF it was because I wanted to know what was going on with literally every other character BUT Nesta.

Graphic: Addiction, Alcoholism, Body horror, Body shaming, Bullying, Child abuse, Death, Eating disorder, Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, Rape, Self harm, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Sexual violence, Violence, Blood, Excrement, Grief, Death of parent, Murder, Pregnancy, Abandonment, Alcohol, Sexual harassment, Dysphoria
If you're sensitive to self-destructive behavior, addiction, and sexual violence, I strongly advise against this book. They are main themes throughout this book.
