I have some issues with this book, which caused me to give it a three star rating. Melania and Me was supposed to be about the relationship between Melania Trump and the author. In the majority of the book, it was all about the author and her life. I didn't really learn very much about the personality or thought process of Melania Trump, which disappointed me. It was also boring in some parts, causing me to have to force myself to continue. The text message inserts annoyed me as well. Otherwise, the behind the scenes look at the campaign trail and the inauguration were very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about that. Some of the things the author was witness to were simply ridiculous to read, as though she was in the room full of toddlers throwing fits. Politics in general are very catty, and it is unreal the lengths they go to in order to get ahead.
